How about that this Celtic Woman Forum adopt a platoon of soldiers in either Iraq or Afghanistan. I will get the info if the interest is there. My college did this last year in our Phi Theta Kappa and the response was huge. We got our kids schools involved writing letters and drawings while the adults put small care packages together for the platoon. The soldiers were so grateful they sent back stuff from over there pictures and videos of themselves for us to watch. It was great. As a 14 year veteran I know how important it is to have people write to keep up morale. It means more than words can express. This could come from the forum as a whole group or individually. Please let me know what you think!
