With an extensive 2009 outing now complete, Irish vocal group Celtic Woman [ tickets ] has mapped another lengthy run for 2010 in support of "Songs From the Heart."

The new 75-date trek kicks off with a three-night stand Feb. 9-11 in Roanoke, VA, and runs through late spring, concluding with a May 22 show in Salt Lake City. Dates are shown below.

Tickets for most shows go on sale Monday (12/14), according to the group's website, though fans who pledge support to their local PBS station will gain access to tickets before they go public. More information can be found at the Celtic Woman website.

The vocal quintet is supporting its forthcoming release, "Songs From the Heart," which will hit shelves as a CD/DVD combo Jan. 26. The new collection also hit PBS television stations nationwide last month as "Songs From the Heart--Live at Powerscourt House."

The special, which was filmed live in HD at the lush Irish estate under the musical direction of David Downes, marks the group's fifth special for the nation's public access station and showcases the work of vocalists Chloë Agnew, Lisa Kelly, Alex Sharpe and Lynn Hilary along with fiddle player Máiréad Nesbitt.

In addition to recording with Celtic Woman, each of the members has released her own solo album.

"Songs From the Heart" follows the group's 2008 release, "The Greatest Journey: Essential Collection," which gathers material from the group's previous releases, along with four new songs ("The Call," "Pie Jesu," "Ave Maria" and "You Raise Me Up").

In June, Celtic Woman released a new tune as a digital download and ringtone. "O, America!," penned by Brendan Graham and William Joseph, was performed extensively throughout the first half of the ensemble's 2009 US tour.

"'O, America!' is a dedication to you to thank you for being the first country to embrace us as Celtic Woman," group member Chloë Agnew said in a message posted at the act's official blog. "We feel as though we are part of your family now and for that we are very honored and proud. You are our true inspiration!"
