I Know This Is Long But We Wanted You to Be There For Each And Ever Miniute
THANK YOU CELTIC WOMAN AND GOD BLESS YOU

We went to the Celtic Woman concert in Louisville, Ky on April 14,2007.

We got there at 3:00 pm. The concert didn't start until 8:00 pm. We were

hoping to get to see Celtic Woman before the concert started but that

didn't work out too good. It was cold and raining the whole time. It was

disappointing not being able to see them before the concert but we knew

we still had the concert to look forward to. Celtic Woman did not

disappoint us. The concert was absolutely amazing. From the minute

Máiréad came walking out playing her fiddle on a fog filled stage and then

Chloë,Lisa,Méav,Órlagh started singing The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun.

We felt great knowing we were in the same room as Celtic Woman. It was

like a dream come true. You had to pinch yourself to see if you were

really there. Then when Máiréad come out playing her fiddle with the

band and choir accompanying them in the middle of the The Sky the Dawn

and the Sun the whole room became electrified. Méav, Lisa, Chloë, and

Órlagh would look at you with a big smile, and singing. You could not help

but start singing along. When the song was over the room filled with

applause as they left the stage. Then Lisa came out with the choir and

band accompanying her singing Caledonia as only Lisa can, totally

beautifully. Then Máiréad come out accompanied by the band playing The

Butterfly which was absolutely wonderful. Then out comes Meav with the

choir accompanying her singing her beautiful rendition of Danny Boy which

in my opinion no one does any better. Then as you are still spellbound out

comes Chloë singing The Prayer with the band and choir accompanying

her. you could hear a pin drop. Then out comes Órlagh with the band and

choir accompanying her singing one of my wifes favorites Siuil a Run

(Walk My Love). She was not disappointed. Then from there it just gets

better when Méav,Lisa and Órlagh come out accompanied by the band and

Choir and singing Orinoco Flow (Sail Away) that was great. As you are

still in awe not believing you are even there. Out comes Máiréad playing

her fiddle with the Band to Granuaile's Dance and boy did she get the

crowd moving. She is unbelievable. You?re sitting there saying to your self

this can't get any better and then out comes Chloë,Méav,Lisa and Órlagh

accompanied by the band singing Somewhere ( beyond the sea ) and as

Máiréad comes out playing along with her fiddle you're saying to yourself

boy was I wrong as you are being blown away by what you are hearing.

And it doesn't stop there as out walks Lisa with the Piano and band

accompanying her singing The Blessing another fantastic song where you

could hear a pin drop. As you're sitting there thinking this is a unbelievable

show. Then Out walks Méav with the band accompanying her singing her

rendition of Simon and Garfunkel's Scarbborough Fair which she does

magnificently. Then out walks Chloë accompanied by the band singing

Vivaldi's Rain we didn't understand a word of the song but totally loved

every minute of it. That goes to show you Chloë can sing any song and it

sounds super( we had translate the words so we did know what she was

singing about.) Then Out walks Chloë, Lisa, Méav, and Órlagh singing Over

The Rainbow acapella (without any music) there was just 3 words for the

way they sang this song that is WOW! WOW! WOW! Then Méav,Lisa,Chloë

and Órlagh come out accompanied by the choir and band singing Mo Ghile Mear

Then Máiréad come out playing along and the crowd got into it again

singing along and that was spectacular. And then they announced it was

half time and we said it can't be half over already. Half time was only 20

minutes and that was fine with us. As the Second half was getting ready to

start you are thinking how can they do anything to top the first half. Then

here comes Ray and Nick playing their Bodhrans (The Celtic Traditional

Drum) and behind them comes Méav and the Choir and band

accompanying them singing Dúlaman and you think yep there going to

top the first half. And then here comes another one of my wifes favorites

Órlagh accompanied by the band and choir singing Newgrange and again she

was far from disappointed. Then my heart soared when out comes

Lisa,Chloë,Méav accompanied by the band singing one of my favorites The

Soft GoodBye that song is just absolutely beautiful. Then out comes

Méav with the band and Órlagh accompanying on the harp singing The Last

Rose Of Summer as Lisa comes out to join her, they are so blessed. Then

the band played The Last Rose as a instrumental and that was outstanding.

Then with the band playing Chloë comes out singing Nella Fantasia then

when time come for the instrumental part on the clarinet they used the

guitarist instead and when the song was over Chloë went over and kissed

the guitarist on the head, that was so sweet. Then the music started

playing and out comes Lisa, Méav, Órlagh with the Choir singing At The

Ceili. Then Máiréad comes out accompanying them on her fiddle that is

such a cool song and they do such a super performance of this song.

Them Máiréad comes out playing Shenandoah-The Pacific Slope on the

fiddle the first part is so sweet and calm, then the second half of the tune

Ray and Nick playing their Bodhrans (The Celtic Traditional

Drum) come out with her and the band accompanying them.

They got the room clapping and getting into it again you could not help but

clap. That was great. Then they bring out Órlagh's harp and put it on its

stand so she can sing Carrickfergus with the band accompanying her. My

wife and I love that song when Órlagh sings and plays the harp. Then as Lisa

comes out with soft music playing behind her she starts singing The Voice.

Then later in the song the band and Máiréad start accompanying her. That

is a super song. You're sitting there thinking this concert is amazing. Then

out comes Máiréad playing Sing Out then Chloë,Lisa,Méav, and Órlagh come

out singing Sing Out with the band and Choir accompanying them. They

get the audience into again clapping and singing along With

Chloë,Lisa,Méav,and Órlagh looking at you and clapping and singing you

can't help and clap and sing to. That was so good. Then Máiréad stared

playing You Raise Me Up and you knew down inside that it was almost

over. We didn't want to end so you tried not to think about it as Chloë

,Lisa Méav, Órlagh with the band and Choir accompanying them started

singing You Raise Me Up, Then close to the end Chloë Thanked the

audience for being here and telling them how great they had been and

then the applause started and continued to the end of the song. Applause

broke out again and went on until Chloë,Lisa, Méav, Órlagh started singing

Spanish Lady with Máiréad the Choir and the band accompanying them,

when the song was over applause broke out again and went on until the

Choir started the intro to Mo Ghile Mear. Then Chloë, Lisa, Méav, Órlagh

started singing Mo Ghile Mear and Máiréad Come out play the fiddle with

them and Ray and Nick worked the drums and the band accompanying

them. And then no sooner than we had got there it was all over, but I must

tell you PLEASE PLEASE if you ever get a chance to see Celtic Woman in

concert do so. You will not be disappointed. That was the most absolutely

amazing concert I have ever seen. We totally enjoyed each and every

song. The cast and crew were nothing but fantastic. And again the Super

Great Celtic Woman (Chloë Lisa Méav Órlagh and Máiréad ) proved why

they stayed on top of the music charts with their first CD for over 82

weeks and their Christmas cd sold over 400,000 copies just in December.

And why their new Cd A New Journey is still at the top of the charts. I

hope and pray that Celtic Woman will come back next year and many

years to come. To all of you we would like to honor you with a BIG THANK

YOU FOR BEING HERE. And Last but no way least we need to give David

Downes and all of the people who had a hand in putting this Super

Fantastic Group together a Big round of applause. And a even bigger

THANK YOU.

Or night wasn't finished yet we were so glad we got meet and greet tickets

since we didn't get to meet any of the lovely ladies outside when we first

got there.

We went upstairs to meet 2 of the ladies but was not sure which 2 it would

be it turned out to be Méav and Órlagh they are 2 of the most beautiful

ladies we have ever seen. They were so sweet and kind They were

absolutely awesome. If this is an indication of what the other ladies are like

we can't wait to meet them. One last thing we bought 2 programs and they

were nice enough to autograph them for us. That totally made a great end

to our day.We had a absolutely unbelievable GREAT TIME !!!!!
