RONAN TYNAN ST. PATRICK'S DAY CONCERT



The Buffalo Sabres Foundation is pleased to present A St. Patricks Day Celebration Featuring Ronan Tynan along with special guest Meav on Wednesday, March 17th at 7 PM at the Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo, North (Amherst) Campus.

The program will include Dr. Tynan and his band performing some of their favorite Irish songs such as Danny Boy and Fields of Athenry, as well as other popular favorites such as Into the Fire, And I Love You So, and Tears From Heaven. Dr, Tynan and Meav will also be performing duets including the much-loved Last Rose of Summer together. Meav, a founder member of Celtic Woman, will be making her Carnegie Hall debut in March with Dr. Tynan.

I can't think of a better way to celebrate St. Patricks Day in Western New York than with Ronan Tynan performing some traditional Irish classical songs.” stated Larry Quinn, managing partner of the Sabres. “Plus with the addition of Meav from Celtic Woman joining Ronan for the show this will truly be a special evening for all lovers of music, specifically Celtic music. We are thrilled to be involved.

Tickets are on sale now at $60, $75, $80, with a limited number of $125 seats available. Ronan Tynan - Overcoming adversity all of his life after being born with a lower limb disability, then later having both of his lower legs amputated as the result of a car accident, Ronan has achieved amazing feats with unbridled determination. Before becoming a world- renowned Irish Tenor, Ronan achieved many gold medals as a Para Olympian, and Champion Horse Rider. He has also helped many as an Orthopedic Doctor specializing in athletic injuries. When he is not performing for Presidents or other dignitaries Ronan has become a mainstay at Buffalo Sabres games where he has performed God Bless America on numerous special occasions.
