The future of life and biomedical sciences in Trinity College The University of Dublin couldn’t be brighter. The construction of an ambitious 29,000-m2 TCD Biosciences Development has started. This facility, due to open in early 2011.This is where Méav Ní Mhaolchatha got her law degree.

The project comprises a 6,000 sqm Science Building (CRANN) and 6,500 sqm Sport Centre.

CRANN: Centre for Adaptive Research on Nanostructures and Nanodevices
The Science Building will house a number of academic offices, seminar rooms, anti-vibrations laboratories, clean room facility, 150 seat lecture theatre and two-storey Science Gallery.
The Sports Centre encompasses a 25m swimming pool, sauna, steam room, fitness centre, aerobic centre, climbing wall, coffee area, main hall, ancillary hall and administrative offices. |
